Inclusive playground equipment, including elements for wheelchairs and other accommodations, can provide both thrills and safety for ALL kids, physically challenged, or not.
The proposed plan focuses on "FULL ACCESSIBILITY" to the playground equipment for youngsters of ALL ABILITIES to ensure inclusivity for all!
Two playgrounds are planned - one for young children and another for older kids and adults.
Pickle Ball, Disc Golf, basketball court and exercise fitness stations provide additional recreation options for tweens, teens and adults. Group picnic area and individual picnic tables are included in the plan.
The atmosphere surrounding our recreational resources will be historic - honoring the Western tradition of the entire region - Native Peoples to gold mining, logging, and lumber mills.
The Pollock Pines Playground is a multi-generational, inclusive, and historic project that will benefit the entire region and the great diversity of people who call it home.
